Part two of the Dayton Community Appreciation Day was held on Saturday, June 15 at the Desoto Bass Apartments. Over 75 community members came out as they were greeted with music, food, giveaways, and more.
Throughout the warm afternoon, community members were able to visit many booths that featured free clothing, a farmer's market, face painting, and resources for the entire community. Guests were also treated to two live performances, including the TSSR Drum Corps.
This is the second of the three scheduled Dayton area Community Appreciation Days. The next Community Appreciation Day is scheduled for Saturday, July 27th, in honor of Derrick Fudge. Hosted by OFUAPB, the Dayton Anti-Racist Network, and The Fudge Foundation. For more info, check the flyer below.
