December 18, 2023 - Dion Green, a beacon of resilience in the face of adversity, is proud to file as a Democratic candidate for Ohio Statehouse District 39 TOMORROW, DECEMBER 19 AT 9AM at the Montgomery County Board of Elections. As a survivor of both the 2019 Oregon District shooting and the devastating Memorial Day tornadoes, Green's journey is a testament to the enduring spirit of the Dayton community.

A Story of Resilience and Recovery


Dion Green's campaign is deeply personal, shaped by his experiences with profound loss and rebuilding. "This campaign is born out of the tragedies our community has endured," says Green.

"In the wake of the tornadoes and the mass shooting, I've experienced firsthand the pain, the resilience, and the need for growth in our community."

Green's candidacy is focused on shining a spotlight on the often overlooked members of the community.

"I am running to represent the real struggles and strengths of our district," he states.

"I am here to fight for the necessary changes that will help us heal and grow stronger. I also want to inspire others like me to take on leadership positions."

Locally, he founded the FUDGE Foundation, aiding survivors of traumatic experiences in their healing journey. Nationally, he has become a vocal advocate for gun violence prevention, mental health awareness, and effective disaster response, sharing his experiences and insights to influence positive change across the country.
